Job summary

Banana Republic is seeking a General Manager to lead store performance, drive profitable sales, and coach a high-performing team. You will translate brand vision into daily operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and manage merchandising, OPS, and talent development.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of retail leadership, excellent communication, and strong planning skills. Flexible schedule and travel as needed are required for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.
• College degree preferred.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes store performance and drives metrics with leadership.
• Forecasts and schedules to maximize profitable sales.
• Manages store budget and daily operations to support the P&L.
• Builds and develops a high-performing team.
• Coaches staff to deliver best-in-class customer experience.
• Ensures SOPs are implemented and followed.
• Leads omni-channel and brand initiatives to improve the customer journey.
• Maintains an inclusive, compliant work environment.
