Job summary

Banana Republic seeks a General Manager to lead a Tucson store, translating brand vision into in-store action and driving profitable performance across operations, merchandising and talent development. You will coach staff, forecast and schedule to maximize sales, manage the store P&L, and implement SOPs while delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

Candidates should have 3-5 years of retail leadership, strong communication, and a flexible schedule with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail experience leading others.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.
• College degree preferred.
• Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stock room, and office; lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to deliver a profitable store business plan.
• Drive profitable sales through forecasting and scheduling.
• Manage store budget to support the P&L.
• Build productive teams through sourcing, selecting and developing people.
• Coach and develop staff to deliver best-in-class customer experience.
• Implement and execute SOPs and initiatives.
• Create an inclusive environment and promote community involvement.
• Promote Omni-channel and ensure compliance standards.
