Job summary

Banana Republic is seeking a General Manager to lead a store team and drive a profitable business plan. You will translate brand vision into in-store execution, managing Customer Operations, Merchandising, Product Operations, and talent development to deliver best-in-class service.

You will mentor staff, forecast, schedule, and build a cohesive team focused on results, compliance, and an inclusive customer experience across all channels.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail experience leading a team.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.
• Willingness to travel to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze results, identify opportunities and drive KPIs with leadership.
• Forecast and schedule to drive profitable sales.
• Manage store budget for daily operations in support of the P&L.
• Build high-performing teams through sourcing, selecting and developing people.
• Coach and evaluate staff performance.
• Teach and train to build capabilities.
• Lead SOPs and initiatives and ensure inclusivity.
• Create an inclusive environment and maximize productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties and represent the brand.
• Promote community involvement and Omni-channel experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
