Design Within Reach, part of MillerKnoll, is seeking a General Manager in Seattle to lead store operations, drive revenue, and coach a design-driven team. You will balance customer experience with financial discipline while upholding brand standards and store presentation.

You will work with regional leadership to deliver design-focused retail strategies, supervise hiring, training, and daily store activities to maximize profit and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Retail leadership experience with store operations.
• Ability to interpret design aesthetics and translate into in-store presentation.
• Strong budgeting and cost-control abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with 3-D rendering tools and visual directives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate store team, set goals, and recognize performance.
• Manage talent acquisition and performance-related situations with HR.
• Ensure procedures reflect design excellence and maintain profitability.
• Guide floorplans, design presentations, weekly trade, and home visits.
• Collaborate with Regional Manager and share insights to grow the business.
