Design Within Reach (a MillerKnoll company) in Pittsburgh is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the General Manager, coach the sales team, and lead client engagement. You will drive sales, maintain visual standards, and coordinate store operations with a focus on customer education of our iconic product stories.

The role requires weekend availability and strong collaboration with leadership to meet store goals.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office software, web navigation, and 3-D rendering programs.
• Able to routinely move objects weighing more than 40 pounds and to understand safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Grow the store's sales weekly by leveraging company programs to manage client lifecycle.
• Support leadership initiatives and train Sales Assistants.
• Build client relationships and educate clients on product stories.
• Directly manage all Sales Assistants and Studio Interns.
• Travel for in-home consultations and visits to local trade professionals.
