Job summary

Michaels in Queens-Woodside, NY is hiring a store team member to deliver friendly customer service and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will assist with stocking, merchandising, and omnichannel tasks, including BOPIS and SFS, while upholding store standards.

The role requires standing and moving throughout the store, with opportunities to engage customers in rewards enrollment and support a well-stocked, in-stock shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go-backs; keep store well-merchandised and in-stock.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and Company policies.
• Interact professionally; uphold company values and be a role model for team members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
