Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead the store floor with energy and purpose, driving sales and coaching the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You’ll partner with the Store Manager to manage daily operations, ensure standards, and protect assets while maintaining a high-energy, customer-first environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ years of retail experience, ideally in a leadership or key-holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales floor with energy and solutions for customers.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and product knowledge.
• Support sales goals and help close the loop with customers.
• Manage daily store operations and floor coverage.
• Ensure store standards, safety, and loss prevention procedures.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled and assist with hiring/training.
