Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Sales Floor Supervisor to drive customer service and profitable sales growth in-store. You will lead and engage associates, manage merchandise standards, and train staff to execute sales-building programs across multiple departments.

The role requires directing service quality, maintaining visual standards, and coaching the team to excel in both in-store and omnichannel processes every day.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership and customer service is required.
• Ability to coach and develop associates to meet sales goals.
• Knowledge of merchandising standards and visual presentation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Directs customer service and sales activities in store; resolves customer issues and concerns.
• Maintains merchandise standards and executes Put to Fixture, SET and visual processes.
• Trains and coaches associates on omnichannel processes (pickup, delivery, returns).
• Leads specialty areas (Fine Jewelry, Mattress, Window) and monitors associated shrink and remerchandising.
• Assists with talent sourcing and development; coaches performance and addresses issues.
• Ensures performance standards for shrink, safety, scheduling, attendance and engagement.
