Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Sales Floor Assistant to drive customer service and profitable sales growth by leading associates, managing merchandise standards, and executing store programs. You will model outstanding service, plan efficient restocks, support visual merchandising, and participate in omnichannel tasks such as online orders and BOPIS as needed.

You will also assist with inventory processes, MTO/DMTO activities, and annual stock checks while maintaining a clean, organized store environment

Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales – Models and holds team accountable for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Door to Floor / Restock / RFID & Inventory – Plans merchandise placement and assists with inventory processes.
• SET / Visual / Environment – Assists with floor moves and visual detailing to support merchandising statements.
• Omnichannel (SVG 2‑3 only) – Assists with jcp.com orders and pick up/ship processes as needed.
• General Operations – Supports Merchandise Transfer Out, Return to Vendor and other inventory processes.
• Performance Standards – Supports shrink and safety initiatives and meets performance standards.
