Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking an Assistant Store Manager / Retail Customer Experience Manager in Yorkville, IL. This role leads customer experience, drives store productivity, and ensures we meet sales and margin targets while upholding brand standards.

You will oversee Softline goods, PGFR, merchandising, and seasonal sets, with a focus on donor service and cash controls. You will manage a team, provide coaching, analyze sales data, and partner with leadership to implement

Qualifications

• Two years of college education or experience equivalency.
• Forklift certification, if required at site.
• Flexible schedule with at least two closing shifts per week and every other weekend.
• Experience in retail and/or production setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer and donor experience to meet sales targets.
• Manage store productivity and brand standards.
• Direct PGFR, seasonal sets, and merchandise on sales floor.
• Lead and develop associates, ensure donation and POS coverage.
• Monitor staff performance, data accuracy, and reporting.
• Analyze data trends and communicate actionable insights.
