Job summary

FedEx Office Florence, KY is seeking a Store Assistant Manager to lead a store business unit, focusing on a consistent, positive customer experience and efficient daily operations across production, retail, shipping, and pickup.

You will supervise team members, assist the Store Manager, participate in hiring, training, scheduling and payroll closeouts, and drive key performance metrics while upholding FedEx Office policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates consultative behaviors to ensure friendly, polite, expert service to all customers.
• Evaluates the efficiency and productivity of team members in creating positive customer experiences.
• If necessary, resolves customer disputes and complaints to ensure timely resolution and satisfaction.
• Creates a customer-focused environment across production, retail, self-service, and shipping; maintains a clean, professional store.
• Establishes and manages a process for customer flow in-store to improve service and deliver quality products.
• Provides training and development of team members on assigned shifts with feedback.
• Interviews job applicants and assists Store Manager with hiring.
• Coaches and counsels team members to ensure policy adherence.
• Maintains communication with Store Lead Consultant and production teams to meet deadlines and quality checks.
• Oversees shipping related services and activities.
• Communicates daily/weekly/monthly goals and performance metrics to the team and Store Manager.
• Ensures compliance with FedEx Office policies and maintains controls.
• Assists Store Manager in payroll review and daily POS close-out; performs other admin duties as needed.
