Job summary

The Container Store is seeking a Store Manager in Tampa, FL to lead daily store execution with a focus on people leadership, operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This full-time, salaried exempt role partners with the General Manager to translate priorities into action.

You will coach and develop a high-performing team, manage labor planning, analyze performance data, and ensure brand-aligned visual presentation while maintaining store safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail leadership experience and team development.
• Experience coaching and driving performance through accountability.
• Strong focus on customer experience and store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Executes store’s business strategy with GM to drive sales, customer experience, and ops excellence.
• Coaches and develops the team, providing real-time feedback.
• Manages payroll reporting and staffing per business priorities.
• Analyzes store data to track progress and identify gaps.
• Leads visual merchandising to align with brand guidelines.
• Oversees inventory, fulfillment, money handling, and backroom organization.
• Drives recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
