Job summary

The Michaels Companies Anderson store is seeking a part-time Store Environmental Team Member to keep the store clean, safe, and welcoming for customers and staff. Responsibilities include dusting, mopping, trash disposal, and assisting with checkout and omni-channel processes.

Ideal candidates will have retail or cleaning experience, be at least 16 years old, and demonstrate a proactive, customer-focused attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Minimum age 16 years.
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks with standard cleaners and chemicals.
• Willingness to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of store cleanliness and recovery to support brand promises.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and handle cash to standard.
• Assist customers and promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Support Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and comply with SOPs and company policies.
