Job summary

Michaels Vernon Hills, IL is seeking a Store Associate to help deliver an outstanding shopping experience by maintaining a clean, safe store, assisting customers, and processing transactions with accuracy. You will promote the Rewards program, support Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS), and help customers locate products quickly.

• Must be at least sixteen years old in the U.S.
• Retail and cleaning experience preferred
• Able to stand for long periods and lift/move items

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies.
