Job summary

Michaels is seeking a store team member in Sequim, WA to uphold brand standards, assist customers, and maintain a clean store environment. The role involves cleaning duties, merchandise care, checkout tasks, and participation in omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Competitive base pay ranges with overtime eligibility; Michaels offers benefits and employee discounts where eligible.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to move throughout the store and lift heavy boxes.
• Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and products for proper cleaning and places products back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
• Deep clean key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms and entryways.
• Notify supervisor of supply needs and complete tasks.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store processes.
• Stocking and planogram (POGs) participation and shrink/safety support.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
