Job summary

Michaels in Kennewick, WA is seeking a store associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment. You will perform cleaning duties, assist customers in locating products, and participate in basic checkout responsibilities.

The role supports omnichannel processes, stocking, and planogram execution, while upholding store policies, safety standards, and a positive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen years old.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of store cleanliness and recovery to deliver our Brand Promises.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers shop and find what they’re looking for.
• Perform cleaning tasks: dust, damp mop floors, collect and dispose of trash.
• Assist with checkout processes and educate customers on rewards programs.
• Support omni-channel processes (BOPIS and Ship from Store) and stocking duties.
