Job summary

Maverik is seeking a Store Director to lead store operations, develop Team Members, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. You will drive performance in food service, oversee budgeting and training, and uphold safety and quality standards.

You will manage the GET customer service expectations, coordinate with leadership, and work cross-functionally to support peak periods and store growth. This role begins with training and transitions to a salaried Store Director position upon completion.

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle financial management, including P&L, budgets, and business plans.
• Experience or willingness to learn in areas such as recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, customer service, and operational efficiency.
• Food Safety Certification: Must obtain and maintain the food safety certification required by the applicable state or local jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Champion GET: Model Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer service, coach Team Members, and ensure a welcoming experience.
• Training and Development: Oversee leadership development and delivery of company training programs.
• P&L Management: Collaborate on P&L, business plans, and budgets.
• Company Initiatives: Implement initiatives to improve customer experience and teamwork.
• Operational Excellence: Drive best practices, measure performance, and improve productivity.
• Food Program Ownership: Maintain knowledge of kitchen processes to support food service leadership.
• Cross-Functional Coverage: Serve as operational backup across all departments during peak times.
