Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Store Director to lead operations across the East Cleveland Market, overseeing locations in Stow, Mentor, Tallmadge Rd - Kent, Boardman, Austintown, and more. You will direct all store activities, coach leaders, ensure customer excellence, and drive profitability with the Meijer leadership team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent retail experience, 5 years in retail, and 3 years in leadership with direct reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent retail experience required.
• 5 years of retail/service industry experience.
• 3 years of leadership experience including management of leaders with direct reports.
• 3+ years of retail leadership experience with General Merchandise and Grocery/Fresh experience preferred.
• Experience leading retail/service operation with $40M+ annual sales revenue.
• Ability to receive and maintain licenses required for store operations.
• Position may require lifting, carrying, and other physical acts.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales and maintain fiscal responsibility.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout store operations.
• Mentor and coach all team members and leaders to ensure goals are met.
• Ensure the store is properly staffed with well-trained team members and develop current staff.
• Comply with corporate, safety, and regulatory procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Cultivate relationships in the local community to support the Meijer brand.
