Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Store Director for the East Cleveland Market, overseeing locations in Stow, Mentor, and surrounding Ohio communities.

The role drives store performance, customer experience, and team development to meet Meijer's standards. You will lead a high-performing team, manage operations and merchandising, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while building strong ties with the local community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or have the equivalent retail experience.
• Have 5 years of retail/service industry experience.
• Have 3 years of leadership experience including management of leaders with direct reports.
• Minimum 3 years of retail leadership experience with General Merchandise and Grocery/Fresh experience preferred.
• Experience in leading retail or service operation with $40 million minimum in annual sales revenue (through single or multi-unit responsibility).
• Position may require lifting, carrying, and other physical acts.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations to maximize customer experience and financial performance.
• Analyze financial data and drive sales while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
• Mentor and coach team members and leaders to meet and exceed goals.
• Ensure proper staffing and training of store personnel.
• Maintain safety, corporate, and regulatory procedures for a safe work environment.
• Develop strong relationships with the local community to support the Meijer brand.
