Job summary

Wayfair is seeking a Store Director to lead a 150,000+ sq ft retail destination in Denver. You will oversee all store operations, sales performance, and customer experience, guiding a team of 5+ department managers and 150+ associates.

Partner with the Head of Stores and cross-functional teams to drive growth and excellence. You will shape strategy, optimize operations, and cultivate a culture of inclusion, trust, and performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in retail or operations leadership, including 5+ years leading large teams, multiple departments or stores.
• Track record of building teams that deliver unforgettable customer experiences through hospitality and service.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, labor optimization, and KPI analysis to inform smart decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Inspire High-Performing Teams across Sales, Design, Logistics, Visual, and Asset Protection.
• Drive Sales & Operational Excellence by analyzing sales, labor, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Serve as the senior in-store decision-maker, aligning staffing and merchandising with business goals.
• Champion Customer Experience by enabling an on-brand, seamless service for every customer.
• Develop Talent by coaching and promoting future leaders for internal growth.
• Collaborate with Facilities, HR, Marketing, and Talent Acquisition to elevate customer and employee experience.
• Identify gaps and drive operational improvements across the store.
