Job summary

Wayfair is expanding its physical retail footprint with a Director-level role based in Boston. You will shape store strategy, build merchandising models, and lead a planning team to optimize sales, margins and inventory.

You will report to the Director of Planning + Allocation, Wayfair, Physical Retail, and supervise senior managers and analysts to drive growth. The role emphasizes leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision making in a fast-growing omnichannel

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in physical merchandising.
• Experience leading business management across products.
• Experience with marketing strategy and prospecting.

Responsibilities

• Achieve store sales, margins, and inventory goals and communicate needs clearly.
• Develop a strategic marketing plan across the product life cycle.
• Collaborate with vendors to create product models meeting customer and store needs.
• Lead weekly/ monthly planning and quarterly reviews and annual plan development.
• Manage product range to bring options to life in-store.
• Coordinate with operations, supply chain, and marketing partners.
• Identify and implement new process improvements and test learn cycles.
• Adapt procedures to respond to customer and business needs.
• Expand regionally and test regional marketing solutions.
