Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Sr. Designer to lead the design team and deliver a seamless consultative design service that builds lasting relationships with customers.

You will meet with clients, assess project needs, educate on requirements, and craft creative concepts reflecting the customer’s style, lifestyle, and budget. The role requires a design degree or equivalent experience, strong communication, and proficiency with design tools; retail/sales experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Design education accepted (BA or AA in Interior Design)
• 6 years interior design experience in lieu of education
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through referrals
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice for residential and commercial projects
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions
• Manage multiple customer projects with accurate communication and timely follow-up
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation
