Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Senior Designer to lead our design team and provide a seamless consultative service that builds lasting relationships with customers. You will meet clients, assess project needs, educate on requirements, and develop design concepts aligned with style and budget.

The role requires design education or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with design tools. Limited travel and a dynamic retail environment are involved.

Qualifications

• Design education (BA or AA in Interior Design) or 6 years interior design experience in lieu of design education.
• 6 years interior design experience in lieu of design education, or combination of education and experience.
• Prior retail/sales experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and support design walk-in needs, scheduling design appointments, and developing clientele.
• Design and sell complete, functional, and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation and achieve sales goals.
• Engage in current and emerging design trends and use design applications (Salesforce, Online Scheduler, MyProject).

Education

BA or AA in Interior Design

6 years interior design experience in lieu of design education

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
