Sports Basement in Los Angeles is seeking a Manager to lead daily store operations under the Senior/Assistant/General Manager. You will oversee department staff, hire on positive culture, and drive performance with a focus on customer service and product flow.

The role requires strong leadership, delegation, and cross-department coordination to ensure WOW experiences for customers and staff while maintaining brand standards and payroll alignment.

Qualifications

• Recent management or lead experience in a retail setting.
• Experience leading 10+ staff members.
• Proven ability to provide constructive feedback and set tasks.
• Experience with staffing, recruiting, and diversity initiatives.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with HR, scheduling tools and business systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations with the management team to meet store goals.
• Delegate tasks and hold staff accountable for duties.
• Communicate clearly with all levels of the business, written and verbal.
• Support sales floor during peak periods as needed.
• Uplift staff morale and maintain the store's positive vibe.
• Oversee department goals, inventory, and merchandising with GM input.
