Join to apply for the Store Counter Sales role at NAPA Auto Parts

We are looking for friendly and knowledgeable individuals to join our NAPA family as Counter Sales associates. As the "face of the retail store," you'll assist customers with their automotive needs, providing excellent service and support. Prior automotive parts knowledge is preferred, but a willingness to learn is essential.

What You Will Be Doing

1. Assist retail and wholesale customers with auto parts questions in person and over the phone.
2. Support team members with automotive parts knowledge.
3. Provide outstanding customer service to everyone entering our store.
4. Maintain a high-energy, customer-focused environment in a fast-paced setting.
5. Engage customers to ensure a positive experience.
6. Utilize technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalog systems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry is a plus, but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses are a bonus.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Enthusiasm for learning about automotive parts.

Preferred but Not Required

• Background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership.
• Experience with cataloging or inventory management systems.
• Customer-centric attitude.
• ASE Certifications.
