We are more than just a Parts Store, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you will be the "face of the retail store," assisting customers with their automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines, but a background in automotive parts is helpful. This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other career paths within our company.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing auto parts answers and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
• Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions
• Bringing energy and focus to our fast-paced stores
• Welcoming customers and ensuring a positive experience
• Using technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and catalogs

What You’ll Need

• A valid Driver’s License
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
• High School Diploma or GED; technical courses are a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Enjoy fast-paced retail environments
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership industries
• Experience in cataloging or inventory systems
• Customer-centric attitude
• ASE Certifications (a plus but not required)
