We are more than just a Parts Store and are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and assistance. You don’t need to be able to tear down motors (though that’s a bonus), but a background in automotive parts is preferred. This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other opportunities within the company.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing auto parts solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
• Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions
• Bringing energy and customer focus to a fast-paced environment
• Engaging retail customers to enhance their shopping experience
• Using technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalog systems

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License

• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customers

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
• Experience with cataloging and inventory management systems
• Customer-centric attitude
• ASE Certifications (a plus but not required)
