We are more than just a Parts Store and are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and advice. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines, but a background in automotive parts is helpful. This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other opportunities with us.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing auto parts answers and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
• Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions
• Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores
• Welcoming customers and ensuring a positive experience
• Using technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and catalogs

• Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions
• Have experience in automotive or have tinkered with or repaired cars and trucks
• Are willing to learn about automotive parts if you don’t have prior experience

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses are a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customers

• Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, marine, or dealership
• Experience in cataloging or inventory management systems
