Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Project Manager I to oversee new store, expansion and remodel projects from pre-construction through close-out. You will coordinate bidding, contracts, schedules and budgets while ensuring adherence to prototype standards and store openings.

Candidates should have 5-7 years in construction, a related degree, and willingness to travel weekly; NC/SC/VA residents encouraged. This role requires strong communication, problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in construction industry.
• Ability to travel weekly across assigned regions (ME/NC/VA/SC).

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and awarding processes with GC/CMs and subcontractors for Food Lion-contracted projects.
• Coordinate bid documents, RFQs, and ensure timely, accurate bid packages.
• Oversee contracts, purchase orders, and processing of requisitions and invoices.
• Lead Change Order processes and monitor budget impact; drive timely payments.
• Direct weekly project meetings with stakeholders to ensure on-time store openings.
