Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Co-Manager who acts as the heartbeat of the store, supporting the General Manager and leading by example to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will drive store performance, develop a winning team, and promote RaceTrac’s mission of making people’s lives simpler and more enjoyable.

You will lead a high-performing team, coach and mentor staff, manage inventory and promotions, ensure food safety, and maintain brand standards in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in retail, food service, or restaurant leadership.
• 1+ year of management experience preferred.
• Strong coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to read and act on business metrics such as P&L, labor, and sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team.
• Cultivate a guest-first culture with welcoming interactions.
• Mentor Shift Managers and team members through training.
• Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and lead by example.
• Foster open communication and collaboration across shifts.
• Support store-level strategies to drive sales, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
• Monitor inventory levels, vendor relationships, and cash control.
• Drive promotional execution and ensure food service compliance.
• Ensure the store is clean, stocked, and aligned with RaceTrac standards.
• Champion Food Safety & Compliance.
• Assist in scheduling and staffing in coordination with the GM.
• Provide performance feedback and drive accountability across the team.
