Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Co-Manager to serve as the heartbeat of the store, supporting the GM, leading by example, and delivering exceptional guest experiences daily. You will drive performance, develop talent, and align with RaceTrac’s mission to make people’s lives simpler and more enjoyable.

You’ll lead teams, coach staff, manage inventory and promotions, and ensure food safety and brand standards across shifts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in retail, food service, or restaurant leadership.
• 1+ year of management experience preferred.
• Strong coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to read and act on business metrics (P&L, labor, sales).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team across shifts.
• Foster a guest-first culture with welcoming, efficient service.
• Mentor shift managers and staff through training and coaching.
• Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and lead by example.
• Support store operations to drive sales, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
• Manage inventory, vendor relations, and cash control.
• Drive promotional execution and food service compliance.
