Job summary

Michaels is seeking a part-time Store Environmentalist to maintain a clean, safe, and inviting shopping environment. You’ll clean floors, restrooms, and high-traffic areas, assist customers, and ensure products are neatly stocked and placed according to planograms.

You will also handle checkout duties, enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, and support omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver brand promises.
• Clean assigned areas with appropriate materials and equipment; deep clean key areas such as bathrooms and breakrooms.
• Assist customers and provide friendly checkout experience, including cash handling and rewards enrollment.
• Support omni-channel processes (BOPIS, Ship from Store) and planogram (POG) updates.
• Participate in stocking, truck unloading, shrink and safety programs, and adhere to SOPs.
