Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Store Associate to maintain a clean, welcoming store environment and assist customers with shopping needs. You will perform cleaning duties, stock and organize products, and support checkout operations while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

Applicants must be at least sixteen and able to stand long periods, with a willingness to assist in omnichannel processes and share responsibilities with the team.

Qualifications

• Retail or cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
• Ability to stay standing for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.
• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop and find what they’re looking for.
• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures; dust and mop floors.
• Move equipment and products for cleaning and place items back in correct placement.
• Deep clean key areas including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways and other high traffic areas.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash to standards.
