Job summary

Old Navy is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and lead the team in delivering a best-in-class customer experience. You will drive profitable sales growth by overseeing customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development in a fast-paced retail environment.

Working with your General Manager and Assistant General Manager, you will coach Leaders, Experts and Brand Associates to build a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and team members.
• Passionate about retail and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to coach and mentor employees to improve performance.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone for the store and team to deliver the brand experience.
• Drive profitable sales growth through customer operations, merchandising and talent development.
• Collaborate with GM/AGM to coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Ensure consistent execution of SOPs and standards.
• Leverage omni-channel strategies to enhance the customer journey.
• Represent the brand and stay aware of the retail landscape.
