Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred/required.
• Retail store management experience in a similar environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to lead a team in a high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and related communications.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling and cash handling; loss prevention.
• Maintain stocked store areas and organized stockroom, protecting company assets including cash.
• Train and develop Store Associates and supervise staff.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment with professional customer interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the store.
