Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of North Carolina LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. The role involves assisting with daily store activities, organizing merchandise, maintaining displays, and ensuring security of assets.

You will help train and supervise store associates while promoting a positive, safe environment and high standards of service. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Fayetteville, NC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Adhere to policies, safety guidelines, and procedures.
