Job summary

Athleta is hiring an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and lead a high-performing team. You will drive profitable sales through customer-focused operations, merchandising, and talent development, in collaboration with store leaders to execute the store strategy.

You will coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class customer experience, while ensuring standards and brand execution across all store functions. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Passionate about retail and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable sales growth through customer and product operations.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies.
• Perform Service Leader duties and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Represent the brand and understand the retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement and omni-channel excellence.
