Athleta is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone, drive profitable sales, and coach a high-performing team. You will manage customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development while collaborating with leadership to execute store strategy.

You will lead by example, delivering a best-in-class customer experience and guiding Brand Associates and Experts to meet performance goals. This role requires flexibility and a passion for retail.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience is required.
• Strong communication with customers and team is essential.
• Leadership and mentoring skills for developing Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Metrics-driven approach to meet sales and performance goals.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, overnights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies and processes to drive store sales and deliver results through a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop highly productive Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and understand the competition and retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
