Old Navy is hiring an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and team, driving profitable sales through customer-focused operations, merchandising, and talent development.

You will support execution of store strategy, coach leads and brand associates, and partner with the General Manager to deliver a best-in-class experience to customers. A history in retail and a drive to coach others is essential.

Qualifications

• Current or former retail employee with 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent communication with customers and team to meet goals.
• Passionate about retail and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Driven by metrics to deliver results and business goals.
• Able to coach and mentor others to learn and grow.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, overnight and weekends.
• Able to use retail technology.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies to drive store sales and deliver results through a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and understand the retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
