Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a defined store area and support overall store operations in Conyers, GA. The role includes opening/closing the store, supervising associates, and ensuring a friendly, easy-to-shop environment while upholding company processes.

Responsibilities cover safety, customer service, merchandising, loss prevention, and frontline supervision. The Area Supervisor will work closely with Store Leadership and report to the Store Manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure store environment, monitor floor activity, and report unsafe conditions.
• Deliver high-level customer service and uphold professional conduct.
• Represent the Ross brand and ensure proper dress code adherence.
• Oversee merchandising, back stock, receiving, and stockroom organization to company standards.
• Support loss prevention through customer engagement and awareness.
• Supervise front-end operations, cashier training, and schedule adherence.
• Oversee fitting rooms cleanliness and security of merchandise.
• Handle administrative duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
