Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot is hiring for a Store Area Team Leader in Belfast, ME. The role focuses on merchandising standards, efficient merchandise flow, and team leadership to drive store performance.

You will ensure stock reception, placement, and scheduling support while leveraging OSJL’s technology tools. The candidate should have 4+ years of retail management experience and be proficient with Google Workspace; experience with HCM/BI tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of previous retail management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Google platform (Sites, Slides, Drive, Docs, Sheets).
• Preferred experience with HCM and Business Intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support store operations to meet merchandising standards and achieve goals.
• Oversee freight flow, backroom organization, and 24-hour freight turnaround.
• Recruit, train, and develop store associates; foster a collaborative team.
