Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Channel Presales Technical Architect in the Chicago area to drive partner enablement and technically advocate storage solutions. The role is hybrid, with on-average two days per week in an HPE office, and travel up to 50% for partner and customer locations.

You will collaborate with partner teams and engineers to translate business needs into architected storage solutions, deliver demos, and support PoCs, contributing to pipeline growth across the partner

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of technical presales experience with storage vendors or partners.
• Hands-on expertise in pitching, demoing and architecting storage solutions.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/KVM) and multiple app stacks.
• Experience with at least one major cloud (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud); certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of data lifecycle: block, file, backup, ransomware protection.

Responsabilités

• Build strong, lasting relationships with partner technical and sales teams, and become their go-to resource for storage solutions.
• Grow the number of partner engineers who can position, demo and design storage solutions through enablement sessions and labs.
• Translate partner needs into architected solutions and support PoCs that meet customer requirements.
• Deliver compelling presentations and demos tying storage capabilities to business outcomes for partners and customers.
• Generate and progress storage opportunities with account teams and partners, keeping pipeline current.
