Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Alpharetta, GA, is seeking a Channel Presales Technical Architect to drive storage solutions for partner ecosystems. The role is designed as hybrid, with an average of two days per week in an HPE office, collaborating with partner engineers and sales teams to design, demo, and position HPE storage offerings.

You will lead deep-dive discussions, craft architected solutions, support PoCs, and help partners win opportunities through technical advocacy and enablement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of technical presales experience with a major storage vendor or storage-focused channel partner.
• Deep hands-on expertise in pitching, demoing and architecting complex storage solutions.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware or KVM-based environments) and at least two application stacks (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle or SAP).
• Hands-on working knowledge of at least one major public cloud (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud); certifications preferred.
• Knowledge across the full data lifecycle: block, file, backup, ransomware protection.
• Strong channel partner engagement and consultative selling skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
