Job summary

West Elm, part of Williams-Sonoma, Inc., is seeking a Stockroom Associate to support daily operations on the sales floor and in the stockroom. You will maintain inventory accuracy, organize stockroom departments, and assist with shipments to ensure smooth merchandise flow across the store.

The role emphasizes customer service, efficiency, and teamwork, with full-time availability and responsibilities spanning stock handling, donations processing, and light supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years stockroom experience.
• 1-2 years customer service experience.
• Basic product knowledge preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Exemplify the highest level of customer service standards to internal and external customers.
• Assist management in planning for receipt of shipments to determine cost-effective receipt and any additional staffing needs.
• Process shipments as delivered. Ensure inventory records are properly maintained.
• Direct merchandise flow from stock room to sales floor.
• Ticket and stock merchandise in the stock room or prepare for immediate distribution to the sales floor.
