Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc.'s West Elm seeks a detail-oriented stockroom associate to receive shipments, maintain inventory records, and support replenishment on the sales floor. You will help keep stockrooms organized, assist the sales team, and ensure merchandise is properly ticketed and logged for efficient distribution.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to lift items and operate stockroom procedures safely in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years customer service experience preferred and stockroom experience.
• Basic product knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify the highest level of customer service standards to internal and external customers.
• Scan shipment as delivered and ticket stock merchandise for the floor or stockroom.
• Provide feedback to supervisor regarding inventory levels and damages.
• Organize stockroom by department and categories for efficient replenishment.
• Ensure stockroom is clean, stocked, and safe with clear aisles and exits.
• Transport merchandise to and from stockrooms and assist on the sales floor during peak times.
