Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Stock/Inventory Associate for West Elm in Vernon Hills, IL. You will receive shipments, maintain accuracy of inventory records, and replenish the sales floor as needed.

You will help organize stockrooms, log merchandise, and assist on the floor during peak times to ensure a smooth store operation. The role demands attention to detail, strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to lift items up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years customer service experience preferred and stockroom experience.
• Ability to operate POS system and lift/move items up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and accurately maintain inventory records.
• Scan shipments as delivered and stock merchandise in stockroom or on sales floor.
• Help replenish sales floor after shipments and during recovery periods.
• Organize stockroom by department and category; ensure aisles and exits are clear.
• Log and ticket merchandise; assist with remote stockrooms as needed.
• Support sales floor during peak times and adhere to company policies.
