Job summary

NewCold Melbourne in Hagerstown, MD seeks a Stock Control Associate to manage and optimize inventory using Corax WMS. You will coordinate with customers, complete warehouse procedures, and support cross-functional teams to maintain high service levels.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in inventory management, WMS experience, and strong Excel/Power BI skills, with a focus on accuracy and timely communications within temperature-controlled logistics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inventory management and warehouse receiving.
• 2+ years using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• 1+ years in temperature-controlled logistics (Food/groceries).
• Excellent customer service: confident, articulate, professional speaking and writing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain inventory of customer’s stock management system (ERP) with NewCold’s WMS (Corax).
• Address inventory adjustments timely and accurately.
• Investigate OS&D through reviewing documentation, track and trace, and physical counts.
• Report OS&D investigation findings to customers and perform root cause analysis of errors found during investigation.
• Provide accurate and timely information on inventory and maintain frequent contact on progress, priorities, defects, and bottlenecks.
• Monitor inventory using housekeeping tools in Corax and Power BI to ensure that the quality commitments with NewCold customer needs are being met and exceeded.
• Complete necessary administrative work for inventory management process and ensure accuracy.
• Support Stock Control team and other departments in all efforts to provide a high level of service to NewCold customers.

Your role as a Stock Control Associate

Key responsibilities

As a Stock Control Associate, your focus is on achieving high levels of customer service and inventory management. You are expected to:

• Customer Service Skills including confident, articulate, and professional speaking and writing abilities.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Excel & Word).

Education/Certification

• High School Diploma or GED.
• HAACP Training Accreditation preferred but not require
