Job summary

NewCold is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the Warehouse Department, ensuring efficient operations, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. The role requires hands-on supervision, training, and the ability to coordinate shifts and overtime to meet business needs.

You will oversee staff performance, train team members, manage inventory controls, and uphold high safety and housekeeping standards in a dynamic cold-chain facility.

Qualifications

• Directly supervises Warehouse Department employees and manages daily operations.
• Ensures inventory accuracy whether receiving from floor or vendors.
• Maintains safety procedures and proper housekeeping in dock areas.

Your role as a Warehouse Supervisor

Key responsibilities:

Directly supervises Warehouse Department employees. Carriesout supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policiesand applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planningassigning and directing work; scheduling and managing overtime appraisingperformance; disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolvingproblems. Keep all aspects of inventory accurate; whether receiving off thefloor or receiving from outside vendors. Manage housekeeping in dock area.While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed toextreme cold and long periods of time on foot on hard surfaces. The employee isoccasionally exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment isusually loud. Other duties include ensuring that all product quality and safetyprocesses are being followed consistently promoting a safe work environment andperforming other responsibilities as needed. Following all safety and policyprocedures as set forth by NewCold.
SCHEDULE:
This position needs to be flexible with the understanding that they may beasked to assist with other shifts as needed
