Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced inventory/logistics specialist to maintain stock accounting records, reconcile balances, and support audits in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

The ideal candidate will coordinate across supply, warehouse, property, and finance personnel, identify discrepancies, and ensure accurate documentation. A current Secret security clearance is required, and US citizenship is necessary to obtain it; CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in inventory, stock accounting, supply chain, or related field.
• Experience supporting audits and property accountability.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Active Secret security clearance; US citizenship required to obtain Secret Clearance.
• CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock accounting records and transaction documentation.
• Reconcile inventory records and stock balances.
• Research discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
• Track receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and losses.
• Support inventory audits and reconciliation activities.
• Validate inventory transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare stock accounting reports and discrepancy documentation.
• Coordinate with supply, warehouse, property, and finance personnel.
• Identify recurring discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation supporting inventory accountability.
