Job summary

Amentum is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Stock Accounting Specialist to maintain accurate financial and logistical accountability of inventory and materiel at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii, supporting SOCPAC. You will reconcile records, track receipts and issues, and coordinate with supply, warehouse, and finance personnel.

You will ensure accurate visibility of assets, participate in audits, and uphold safety and procedural compliance. A Secret clearance is required; U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of inventory, stock accounting, supply, logistics, or related experience.
• Active Secret security clearance, US citizenship required for clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock accounting records and transaction documentation.
• Reconcile inventory records and stock balances.
• Research discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
• Track receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and losses.
• Support inventory audits and reconciliation activities.
• Validate inventory transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare stock accounting reports and discrepancy documentation.
• Coordinate with supply, warehouse, property, and finance personnel.
• Identify recurring discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation supporting inventory accountability.
• Maintain compliance with applicable safety and operational procedures.
